Our curriculum is in line with the National Curriculum. It is well structured, broad and rich, with an emphasis on problem solving and thinking skills. Our children benefit greatly from small class sizes which ensure that we can meet their individual needs. At Springfield we use various strategies e.g. visual, auditory and kinaesthetic aids during lessons as much as we can so that pupils can be motivated and fully engaged to receive information and knowledge.
Early intervention for children with special educational needs has helped such children to progress and fulfil their academic potential.
Success and achievement are recognised and celebrated in many ways in Springfield i.e. at assemblies, end of year. We work to enhance the strengths of our gifted and talented pupils.
