Springfield Christian School was founded in 1999. Prior to this 'the school' really started as a free home help being given to friends' and neighbours' children in our home kitchen on Saturdays in 1991.
On realizing the positive changes in the children as a result of the free home lesson, the friends (parents) sought and found a community hall for our use at the Summer Road Estate. Thus the free home lesson became a Saturday Supplementary School in the London Borough of Southwark. The Supplementary School later moved to Bradfield Club on Commercial Way to give way to new housing development.
The impact of the Saturday Supplementary School was so prominent in the pupils' achievements that there was a great urge to establish a full time day school. Thus in September 1999, Springfield Christian School became a fully registered Nursery/Primary School and has since been going from strength to strength, providing qualitative private education and childcare at reasonable fees.
The school moved to its present site in 2003.
